On Wednesday, Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani sponsored the signing of two agreements and 24 Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) with the Sultanate of Oman, in the presence of Deputy Prime Minister for Energy Affairs and Minister of Oil, Hayan Abdul-Ghani Al-Sawad.
The MoUs covered multiple fields, including energy and oil. They included:
- An MoU on cooperation in the energy sector.
- An MoU on the marketing of Iraqi crude oil.
- An MoU on oil storage.
The Prime Minister arrived earlier in Oman, accompanied by the Deputy Prime Minister for Energy Affairs and a high-level Iraqi government delegation.
