Oversight Committee to Review Iraqi Airways' Performance
Oversight Committee to Review Iraqi Airways’ Performance

A committee has been established to audit the performance and operations of Iraqi Airways, following a directive from the Prime Minister.

The committee, chaired by the Commission of Integrity, will include representatives from the Federal Board of Supreme Audit (FBSA) and the Prime Minister’s Office monitoring department.

Its mandate covers reviewing operational performance, implementation processes, and matters related to reforming and improving the national carrier’s services.

The move follows ongoing monitoring of reports concerning the company’s administrative and service performance, as well as concerns raised by employees regarding working conditions, service standards, and the airline’s future.

The government stated that the review forms part of a broader public service reform agenda aimed at improving efficiency and enhancing service quality.
