
President Nizar Amedi has held talks with a delegation from the Syndicate of Iraqi Programmers.
The delegation, led by Syndicate President Atheer Hamed Abdul Amir Al-Qaisi, met with President Amedi at Al-Salam Palace in Baghdad to congratulate him on assuming office and to discuss the future of Iraq’s software and information technology sectors.

The meeting focused on how Iraq can better harness the skills of its young programmers and technical specialists to support national development and accelerate the modernisation of government institutions.
President Amedi called for broader investment in technical training and professional development and for creating the conditions needed to foster creativity and innovation, describing these efforts as essential to advancing the government’s wider digital transformation agenda.
Members of the delegation reaffirmed their commitment to supporting national initiatives aimed at modernising Iraq’s digital landscape.
